Sandra, LSW-C, MHRT/C
Founder & CEO
Sandra, LSW-C, MHRTC, is a dedicated mental health professional, co-founder of Thrive Maine Behavioral Health, and a fierce advocate for survivors of domestic violence. A proud mother and grandmother of three, Sandra's journey has been one of resilience and reinvention-earning her bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in women and gender studies in her 50s. Throughout her career, she has worn many hats: dance studio owner, service dog trainer, helpline advocate for the local domestic violence resource center, and case manager. As a survivor herself, Sandra is deeply committed to social justice and raising awareness of family violence. She developed Reckoning Domestic Violence, the Workshop, a powerful space for women survivors, and was honored as one of the 20 Outstanding Women of 2024 by 93-1 The Coast FM. Sandra's passion for helping others shines through her leadership and work in the field-always guided by empathy, compassion, and an unwavering belief in the power of community

Susan, MHRT/C

Susan is a dedicated early childhood professional with an extensive background in supporting young children's growth and development. With a deep passion for nurturing social and emotional learning, she has spent her career creating safe, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environments where children thrive. A proud mother of four and grandmother, Susan brings not only her professional expertise but also a rich, personal understanding of what it means to raise confident, compassionate children. She has been a devoted partner for 28 years, and her values of connection, empathy, and lifelong learning are woven into every aspect of her work with children, families, and fellow educators. Whether mentoring new teachers, guiding parents, or working directly with young learners, Susan is driven by a heartfelt commitment to helping every child feel seen, supported, and empowered.


Paige, LCSW
Clinical Director
Paige obtained her masters degree in Social Work at the University of Maine in 2021. She has experience working with various populations through case management, in-home therapy with children and their families, outpatient therapy with all ages, medical social work, and most recently she has worked as a clinician with adults in a group home setting. Paige enjoys working from a strengths based perspective, believing that the client knows themselves best and has the power within them to achieve their goals. Outside of work, Paige enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her partner, and reading books or snuggling with her cats.
Emily, MHRT/C
Case Manager
Hi, I'm Emily! Welcome to Thrive Maine behavioral health. I have been a mental health case manager for three years and have been in the field for five. I am incredibly passionate about helping people reach their goals. Let's face it, life can be overwhelming and difficult at times. We have all been in a spot where we have needed some help, at least I know I have. I have experience working with a variety of different mental health diagnoses. whether you are a person experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, need help finding providers, struggling with substance use or filling out application for benefits, I can help! I strive to create an environment where everyone feels, safe heard and respected. I look forward to getting to know you!


Ashley, MHRT/C
Case Manager
Ashley is a dedicated case manager with a strong background in healthcare and a specialized focus on domestic violence advocacy. With a compassionate approach and a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, she supports individuals navigating complex personal and medical challenges. Ashley brings a unique blend of clinical insight and advocacy experience to her work, helping clients access vital resources, build safety plans, and regain stability. She is passionate about empowering survivors and fostering long-term healing through community support and personalized care. Her balance of strength, compassion, and real-world experiences shape every aspect of the work she does and the life she leads. Outside of her professional life, Ashley is a proud mother of four, devoted partner and an avid Harley rider who finds freedom and balance of the open road.

My therapeutic style is person-centered and collaborative—I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and evidence-based tools. Drawing from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor sessions to meet your unique needs and goals.
